What we actually service
Central forced air is what most Findlay houses run today, and it is the system we see most often, from a basement furnace and coil pushing warm or cool air through the same ductwork all year to a condenser tied into it outside. But it is not the only system we service. We still work on central gravity heating too, the older gravity fed furnaces that heat a house by convection rather than a blower, and that a lot of newer HVAC companies will not touch because almost nobody trains technicians on them anymore. Findlay's housing stock is old enough that they still turn up in basements every season, and if yours is one of them, we know how to keep it running or replace it properly when the time comes.
Past that list we cover underfloor and electric wall heaters, split systems, hybrid heat pump systems, high-efficiency air filtration, humidifiers and dehumidifiers, and geothermal heating and cooling. Whether the complaint is one bedroom that never gets warm or a whole house that will not hold a set temperature, the actual fault usually sits somewhere on that list, and a lot of the time we can narrow it down before a technician even leaves the office.

How a call runs
Estimates on residential heating and cooling work are free, and that covers a full replacement quote, not only a repair. We would rather look at the equipment first than guess a number over the phone, because the difference between a part that is worn and a part that is about to fail on you is usually visible once the cabinet is open, and it changes what we recommend.
You get the diagnosis before the price, and the price before anything is ordered. That order matters more than it sounds like it should. A technician who quotes before diagnosing is guessing at your expense, and one who orders parts before you have agreed to the job is spending your money before you have said yes to it.

When the bills stop making sense
Sometimes the honest answer to a utility bill that keeps climbing is not a bigger furnace, it is a house that is leaking the heat it already paid for. We run whole-home energy-leak diagnostic testing to find exactly where that is happening, rather than assuming the equipment is at fault when the walls and attic around it are the real problem.
For some houses the better long-term move is a geothermal conversion, trading a fuel-burning furnace for a system that moves heat already stored in the ground instead of making it from scratch. It is not the right call for every property in Findlay, but where the ground and the budget line up, it changes the shape of the bill rather than just shaving a little off the top of it.
Whose equipment we work on
We are a Trane Comfort Assured dealer and a Daikin Elite Dealer, and when one of those brands is the right fit for a replacement, we will say so plainly. That does not mean we only work on what we sell.
We service all brand-name heating and cooling equipment, whichever company installed it originally. If your furnace or condenser carries a badge we do not carry ourselves, that is not a reason to turn the call away. It is just a system we already know how to work on.
