Commercial HVAC for Findlay Businesses

Rooftop units, zone systems, heat exchangers and custom sheet metal for premises where a failed system is a customer walking back out of the door.

Chapter 01

First impressions are a mechanical problem

A dysfunctional cooling or heating system does not stay a mechanical problem once customers notice it. A waiting room that is too warm, a retail floor with cold air pooling by the door, a dining room where the thermostat has clearly stopped working, all of it reads to a customer as a business that is not being looked after, whatever the actual state of things is behind the counter. Leave that repair long enough and it starts costing you business you never even see walk back out.

We treat commercial HVAC repairs as a business problem with a mechanical cause, not the other way around, and we schedule around that. We are a licensed and insured business, and the equipment side of the job is only half of what we are actually fixing. The other half is getting the space back to a temperature customers do not notice, which is the whole point, before it costs you a second visit from the same customer.

The equipment list

Commercial work covers a wider spread of equipment than a house ever does. On the cooling side that means central, split, window and wall air conditioning. On the heating side it means gas, electric, solar, forced air and hydronic systems, depending on what the building was originally built around.

Alongside that we handle ventilators, including humidifiers and media air cleaners, programmable thermostats, motorised zone systems that let different parts of a building run at different temperatures, air and process piping, and air-to-air heat exchangers. A lot of commercial buildings in Findlay run on package rooftop units specifically, the kind mounted above the space rather than beside it, and that is where a large share of our commercial calls start. Whichever piece of that list is giving you trouble, it is worth a call rather than a guess about which part is actually at fault.

Chapter 03

Custom sheet metal, fabricated for the run

A lot of commercial HVAC work runs into the same problem: the building was not built around the ductwork, so the ductwork has to be built around the building. Stock duct sizes do not always fit the run a particular ceiling cavity or mechanical room actually has available, and forcing a mismatch there is how you end up with airflow that never balances properly no matter how good the equipment on either end is.

We fabricate custom sheet metal to fit the actual run rather than altering the building to fit stock parts. It is slower than pulling a standard piece off a shelf, and it is also the difference between ductwork that works with your building and ductwork that just barely fits inside it.

Licensed and insured

We are a licensed and insured business, which matters more on a commercial job than most owners think about until something goes wrong partway through it. On the equipment side, we sell HVAC systems from Trane, and we will tell you honestly when a Trane system is the right fit for your building and when it is not.

As with residential work, being a Trane dealer does not narrow what we will service. Whatever brand is already installed in your building, we can very likely still work on it.

Building

Fabricated for the building you actually have

Custom sheet metal fabrication is the part of the commercial job that is easy to skip and hard to get away with skipping. A run that has to turn twice through a mechanical room, or drop through a ceiling cavity that was never sized for ductwork, needs metal cut to fit that specific path, not a stock piece squeezed into a space it was not made for.

In plain words: we do not make your building fit our stock, we make the ductwork fit your building.

A failed system is a customer walking back out. Call before it gets there.
